This Investors Group Walk for Memories is dedicated to a special group in our community, the Early Stage Support Group.

Life need not end with the diagnosis. With a solid belief in this phrase, the members of the Kelowna Early Stage Support Group have been an inspiration to families across British Columbia and the country. Through early diagnosis and involvement in the early stage group, they each feel they are able to live more – and have made a commitment to doing just that! They support each other to reach out and “focus on what we can do, not what we have lost.” Authors of Memory Problems?, a booklet published and distributed across Canada, members of the group have spent hours educating family members, peers, and health professionals – even producing a video with the Alzheimer Society of Canada. Sharing life from the inside out is a philosophy that has benefited the entire group and countless others.
