Thanks to a $50,000 donation from the RBC Foundation and a $22,000 donation by Manulife Financial, the Alzheimer Society will hold at least 40 Family Caregiver Series educational events in 30 communities this year.

support and education

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. offers a variety of support and education programs throughout the province.

One of these programs is the Family Caregiver Series, an educational series for those caring for a person with dementia. The Family Caregiver Series helps explain what dementia is, and provides the keys to manage quality of life, as well as coping skills to help manage workload, grief and stress.

To learn when the Alzheimer Society's next educational program will be held in your area, contact your local Alzheimer Resource Centre or check the Events calendar.
