The Investors Group Walk for Memories is gearing up for January 2010 with a brand new 30-second spot featuring British Columbians who are affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

“My mom is living with this disease, so I’m excited to be in this ad that will help us get the word out,” says Kate Cowell who works at the Society and attends the Walk every year with her family.

One in three Canadians knows someone with Alzheimer’s disease. This year’s Investors Group Walk for Memories asks the question, who are you walking for?

You can show your support by registering today for the Investors Group Walk for Memories. Register online by November 30 for your chance to win a DSi™ system, with "Personal Trainer™ Walking" game and backpack at walkformemories.com
