The holidays are a time of family, friends and generosity. The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is a grateful recipient of many end-of-year donations during this time of giving. We want to take a moment to put a face to those who receive your support.
Your gift supports the PERSON WITH DEMENTIA
… to prepare for the future and improve quality of life.
Your gift supports the RESEARCHER
… to lead the way to a better tomorrow.
Your gift supports the FAMILY
… to “realize there is strength in knowledge of the disease, and in sharing.”
Gail Murray, with her mother, Vera.
Vera and her granddaughter, Lindsay Butters
Gail Murray’s mother has dementia and lives in Penticton. The entire family is grateful for the support they receive from the Society. While Gail is unable to visit her mother as often as she would like, she has chosen to use her skills and give back as a trained volunteer facilitator for a caregiver support group in Coquitlam.
Gail adds: “The Alzheimer Society is amazing and a tremendous resource for our family and the community.”
Your gift goes to support the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and friends throughout the province of B.C. whose lives have been impacted by the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Thank you to all who make a donation at this generous time of year. If you wish to lend your support, please click here to make your donation, or contact our Development Officer at 604-742-4932.
