The 2011 Ascent for Alzheimer’s team will have their final training hike before embarking on their trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is among top percentile of charities considered to be a good investment according to Canada Revenue Agency standards. For each $1 the Alzheimer Society of B.C. raises for the cause, $0.85 goes to providing Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow…® for British Columbian families already on the dementia journey, and to fund research to one day create a world without Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
