General Donations

Your tax-deductible donation funds research into the cause and the cure of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and supports our programs and services across the province.

You can choose to make your donation by

  • cash
  • cheque
  • credit card
  • gifts-in-kind

You can donate to us quickly and efficiently through our secure online option. Within minutes of making a donation, you will receive an electronic tax receipt sent to the email address you provide during the donation process. To make a secure general donation online, click HERE.

For other general donation options, including our printable general donation form, see the “More Information” box on this page.

If your cash, cheque or credit card gift is more than $15, you will receive a tax receipt; for gifts under $15, receipts are issued by request only.

Gifts-in-kind are tangible property gifts such as art, jewelry, antiques or furniture. Receipts are issued for the fair market value of an "in kind" donation, regardless of whether it is new or used.

news   Remember, for your convenience

  • You can request one annual receipt to cover all of your donations in any one year; and
  • The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is set up to receive annual gifts in equal monthly instalments through auto-debits or credit cards.
