The Alzheimer Society of B.C. (established in 1981) is a volunteer based, non-profit organization with a Provincial Office and Resource Centres located throughout the province.

We provide support services and education programs locally and provincially, and are connected nationally to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. These three levels work together to form a nationwide network of services to help Canadians who are affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

	The Alzheimer Society of Canada has produced a presentation providing a general description of Alzheimer’s disease, sharing the stories of people impacted by dementia, and an overview of the Alzheimer Society and the services we provide.
