Alzheimer Society of B.C. Jean Blake will co-emcee at this year’s Dementia Forum at the UBC Life Sciences Centre on Jan. 26. Bridging Research, Practice and Care is the theme of this year’s Dementia Forum.
Attendees of this year’s forum have an opportunity to learn about new insights into the causes of dementia, reflect on the challenges and choices of participating in research and assessment and learn about opportunities, resources and support for
those living with dementia.
The Canadian Direct Insurance sponsored event is presented by UBC, the Clinic for Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders at the UBC Hospital and Vancouver Coastal Health, with contributions from the Alzheimer Society of B.C., the Canadian Dementia Knowledge Translation Network, the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation and the Brain Research Centre.
