The Forget Me Not pin was created to help raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. What better time than January Alzheimer Awareness month to start raising public awareness about a heartbreaking disease that is now one of the top 10 causes of death in Canada.
You can get your own free Forget Me Not pin in two ways:
- Participate in the Investors Group Walk for Memories taking place on Jan. 29 in 24 communities across British Columbia. All participants attending a Walk will receive a Forget Me Not pin. Find a Walk in your community.
- Visit your local Alzheimer Society of B.C. Resource Centre. Find support, information, and education in your community.
