Musicians for Memory, an annual event, is taking place on Wednesday Apr. 6 at 9 p.m. at the Republic Nightclub in Vancouver. There will be four exciting bands performing to raise funds to support the Alzheimer Society of B.C.: Venice Queen, The Senticsphere, The Deadwax Collective and The Might One.
Last year the event raised $4,600, and this year every dollar through the door will be going directly to the Alzheimer Society of B.C., with additional financial support coming from the Donnelly Fund.
Tickets are $15 and guests will receive a CD sampler from the bands and a chance to win prizes such as skydiving, ziplining, guitars, spa packages, clothing, white water rafting, and much more.
Funds raised by Musicians for Memory will help the Society provide support and education to more than 70,000 people in British Columbia who are currently impacted by Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
