On Sunday, June 27 2010, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. was one of the chosen charities that benefited from the Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon & 5K Run/Walk.
This has been an incredible new event for us—it’s allowed us to spread the word about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and the work we do here at the Society. This year we have raised over $14,000 and we aren't finished yet!
None of this would have been possible without your gift of time, fundraising and sweat!
You can feel proud knowing that the money you raised will make a meaningful difference for the 70,000 people in our province who are living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. A number that is rapidly increasing as the baby boomers age.
