Email* This course will be offered in four 2 hour sessions, on November 16, November 23, November 30, and December 7.*
Shaping the Journey is a six-part series of educational workshops for people with early symptoms of dementia and their care partners who want to explore and prepare for the journey ahead in a positive and supportive environment.The course will be presented by an experienced and trained team of the co-facilitators from the Alzheimer Society of B.C. There are six sessions that cover:
- The Brain and Dementia
- The impact of hearing the diagnosis
- Maintaining your general health
- Life after the diagnosis
- Planning ahead
- Maintaining your spirit
Upon applying there will be interview process to determine if it would be beneficial for your family to attend.
